A scroll of scriptures tilts, a thought enters meditation The Dhamakan yellow jade shows a charming colour

Specifications: L×W×H 50×31×13 mm, Weight: 37.8 g
Material: Natural Grade A Jadeite

Craftsmanship:
This Zen-style scroll plaque is carved from premium Damakan rough jadeite with natural yellow jadeite color via skillful color carving. It features an icy, translucent white base interspersed with rich honey-yellow hues, with a crisp, distinct boundary between yellow and white. The natural rind tones of the raw stone are utilized to the fullest.

Carved freely in the shape of a weathered ancient scroll, the yellow jadeite portion forms Buddhist scripture scrolls, with dangling prayer bead chains that look elegant and flowing. Bold relief carvings adorn the jade surface, and archaic script characters embellish the edges, presenting the appearance of a Buddhist scripture scroll weathered by time.

Instead of a perfect, uniform shape, the intentionally incomplete scroll carries profound Zen philosophy: nothing in the mortal world is flawless, and one ought to preserve inner peace amid life’s ups and downs. The whole piece exudes a quiet, distant artistic conception saturated with Zen charm. Ideal for spiritual practitioners and literati scholars to wear or appreciate by hand. Unique color matching, one-of-a-kind and irreproducible.
